Brandon Stough, CFP^®

A founding member of Thornhill Capital Management, Brandon is originally from Selma and attended the University of Alabama where he attained a Finance degree with a concentration in Real Estate.  Upon graduation, Brandon spent the first four years of his career with College Station Properties in Tuscaloosa, working as a manager primarily focused on student housing and commercial properties.  In May 2011, he joined Morgan Keegan as a Financial Advisor which subsequently became Raymond James in April 2012.  In April 2019, Brandon earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.  Being certified by the CFP Board of Standards means someone has voluntarily taken the extra steps needed to provide a high standard of financial planning to those they serve.

Brandon’s focus centers on investment management, which entails selecting the appropriate asset allocations and most effective investment strategies.  While recognizing performance is significant, he also understands the importance of risk mitigation, tax efficiency and cash flow analysis.  Each of these variables are essential in creating a customized portfolio to suit each client’s individual needs.

Brandon and his wife, Lindsey, have three boys, Charlie, Grady and Henry and are very involved in the community.  He has served as President of the Morning Rotary Club of Tuscaloosa, Treasurer of Temporary Emergency Services, Treasurer of UCP of West AL, 2013 Leadership Tuscaloosa Graduate, member of the Alexis de Tocqueville Society of the United Way of West AL, and Deacon and past Stewardship Chairman for First Baptist Church Tuscaloosa. Outside of the office, Brandon enjoys spending his time with his family, hunting and golf.
